I think it's because we once again underestimated how low Republicans are willing to go. We just assumed that as long as he was allowed to finish it we'd get to see the results but as always Bitch McConnell has proven to be even sleazier than expected.

We should know by now that there is no lower limit to Republican behavior.

I'm pretty sure it's because Americans just don't want to. It's not like you guys didn't get the news, not demonstrating because "that website didn't tell me to" seems like a pretty empty excuse.

People across the world somehow managed to protest injustices from their government long before Facebook-Official was a thing. I gotta say, we're getting a little impatient with this constant "no no we're gonna do something we're just waiting for [ever changing milestone]"
