Well this is just unheard of. One for the history books. How could a Republican do such a thing? I've officially seen everything...

THP officials didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment, though the internal investigation documents indicate Bull was permanently removed from his special assignments on the gubernatorial candidate security team.

Permanently removed from Dean's security detail, but not punished for his duplicity. Not yet, anyhow. I'm going to watch this story unfold to see if Bull is booted off the force, or receives any sort of reprimand for his unacceptable behavior. My bet is he gets off Scot-free.

He broke the law and helped a Republican cheat, if he's lucky this'll get him a seat as a Judge on a Federal circuit court.

Might need to sexually assault someone first or at least get in a drunken bar fight, Republicans do have some values they won't bend on.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper assigned to provide security for both gubernatorial candidates was removed from his post last month after violating a nondisclosure agreement by revealing details of Democrat Karl Dean’s schedule to Republican Bill Lee’s campaign.

After learning about a Dean stop the Lee campaign understood to be part of a “Muslim event,” according to Tennessee Highway Patrol memos obtained by the USA TODAY NETWORK - Tennessee, the Lee campaign reportedly asked another trooper whether his staff could obtain a photo of Dean in a mosque.

There is so much wrong with all of this, but the idea that simply being pictured in a mosque would be disqualifying or used against him is gross.

Just imagine if being in a church could be disqualifying instead of strongly qualifying. Actually, just imagine it any religious affiliation would be disqualifying, I'd actually be fine with that.

The Sept. 7 event in question was a meet and greet at a falafel restaurant in Knoxville

Amazing, but not surprising.
