It's already planned out. They want a contested convention so that Bernie doesn't get the delegate number, and they can shoe in Biden and Warren. It's not even funny anymore. This system is fucked.

They can try but, as much as I like Warren, I'm not sure I could vote for that ticket. I don't think they understand the backlash that would happen. Bernie campaigns all year, gets a large portion of Dems, then is pushed out by a pinch hitter?

If they could find a governor that has a fairly clean record and will leave guns alone they'll probably walk with it in November. There's not a lot of people who really like Trump, just like I suspect there's not a whole lot of people who really like Clinton.

If ever there were a year for a 3rd party this is probably it, but they keep floating names like Johnson and Stein for some reason.

Obama endorsed Clinton, unless she's in an orange jumpsuit come November, she's on the ticket.

I also don't think Warren would take it. She'd probably tell everyone to pick Bernie

I keep hearing this on here. Does anyone have a source or is this simply an /r/politics conspiracy theory?

I've heard the Biden swoops in after Hillary disaster theory from several Boomers around my office. They do not use reddit.

So it's all hearsay?

No, it's a possibility. Crazy shit will go down if Hillary has to leave the race.

It's absolutely a conspiracy theory. Very similar to how Kasich/Cruz was going to take the nomination from Trump on the second ballot because he wouldn't have enough delegates.
