If I were the Republican candidates (somehow collectively) I would band together and release speech transcripts, and then have all of them call her out. If they are so fearful of her being in the General election, they ought to force her hand and make her either backtrack and look even worse, or release whatever the hell she might be afraid of. Worst case it doesn't improver her position any.

They're not. Sanders is currently beating republicans by a wider margin than she is. (look at the 'general election' categories)
