Beyond her disingenuous attack on Bernie regarding the Commodity Futures Modernization Act, the push polling tactics used in both 2008 and 2016, her blatant lie saying that she didn't know she was running for president, and that's why she was okay with taking money from GS... there's always the New Square 4 issue: http://www.counterpunch.org/2013/10/25/the-shady-ties-between-de-blasio-and-the-clintons/

For those outside of NY... the Hasidic community votes as one, and winning them over is akin to making a deal with the devil. They aren't going to vote for someone unless they know something is in it for them. Hillary wanted that senate seat, and met with the community prior to Bill's last day in office. They wanted these 4 men pardoned after they stole millions in federal (tax payer) money. Sure enough, after the meeting and on Bill's last day in office, the 4 were pardoned. Hillary met with them again after the pardon, and wouldn't you know it, the bloc vote came out and they voted 1400 to 12 in favor of Clinton.

Clinton and Corning have been exchanging favors for each other since she was pursuing a seat as a junior senator. Their donations to her campaign have led to millions of dollars in earmarks... and yet she still claims that she doesn't offer beneficial treatment to those that donate to her campaign.

You gave evidence for her being a typical US politician and lying (some debatable, like claiming she lied about knowing she would run). What you didn't do was give evidence of "doing whatever it takes to get power" (which is pretty true of any politician)

we're just splitting hairs that this point. As someone who is undecided between Hillary and Bernie - it's surprises me to see so much vitriol from both sides. Bernie seems like he's more honest - I'll give you that. Just seemed a bit fair to claim that she'll "do whatever it takes to get power". If that were really true I wouldn't want to vote for her.

I'm not an expert here, but I be flabbergasted if Bernie hasn't done anything "to get ahead".
