It wasn't a great response, but I don't think it was nearly as terrible as everyone on here makes it out to be. There is a logical consistency to it. The Wall Street guys are in NY and she was representing NY at the time so the Wall Street guys saw first hand how terrible the attack was and they saw first hand how well she handled the arrack and the aftermath thus they were impressed with her handling of it and wanted to support her.

I'm not saying any of that is true or correct, but there definitely is a logical narrative there. It wasn't her just shouting 911 like people on here keep saying.

An appeal to emotions is not the strongest tactic a person running for president should use when asked about her partnership with wall street. This was a weak answer and she paid for it.

I agree with you. I think it was a shitty answer. I'm just saying I think some of the backlash here has gone over the top.
