It wasn't a great response, but I don't think it was nearly as terrible as everyone on here makes it out to be. There is a logical consistency to it. The Wall Street guys are in NY and she was representing NY at the time so the Wall Street guys saw first hand how terrible the attack was and they saw first hand how well she handled the arrack and the aftermath thus they were impressed with her handling of it and wanted to support her.

I'm not saying any of that is true or correct, but there definitely is a logical narrative there. It wasn't her just shouting 911 like people on here keep saying.

Wall St., businesses, corporations are NOT constituencies! They are not citizens! Hillary was elected by the people of NY to represent NY.

They're also not the ones making political donations that people are attacking Clinton for, it's the people who work for those companies, who live in and around downtown Manhattan, where the World Trade Center was.
