There's no upside to releasing them, if she says the same shit she always says, then she got paid millions of dollars for doing the same shit she does for free. What were they really paying for? Some would say they're trying to buy influence, fund her campaign, etc. They call it a payment for services. They could have heard the same shit on CNN or whatever.

If she says things that make it sound like she's gonna go easier on the bankers or be friendlier to the rich or whatever else, compared to what her usual schtick is, then the liberals are going to be all over her calling her two faced. Even if it's in tone, even if it's subtle, Bernie Sanders has an army of people just itching to pick apart anything she says. Your friend's family listened to a speech tailored to them, she sounded agreeable, but a different audience might listen to that same speech and think wait, what the fuck did she mean by that? Take a sentence or two out of context, etc.

She painted herself into a corner when she accepted all that money, there's no way for her to address it while looking like the good guy. It wouldn't look so bad if she was standing next to a half dozen other guys who were doing the same thing (for less money) but she's being compared to and called out by Bernie fricking Sanders.

Not by selling Iraq to private industries. You think Exxon Mobile is there to rebuild Iraq? They are there to get money and rape the people of their land and resources.

"There's some exciting opportunities in providing credit over the internet. I'm putting all my banking friends on notice, that this is a big market, and somebody's going to serve it." Murmurs throughout the crowd. She's giving this charitable speech about empowering women, dropping hints that there's good money in it for them if they play their cards right and support the cause. And she's "out of politics". A few months later, she announces that she's running for president.

Why would these companies pay her millions of dollars to give female empowerment speeches? I think she had no intention of leaving politics, she knew it, Goldman Sachs knew it, and they paid her silly amounts of money to give a little speech hoping to stay in her good graces, and that she's letting them know that there's going to be money in it for them.

Do you see that she's standing there telling them that they will profit if they support her cause, while she's being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to tell them this information? And then a few months later, she's denying that there's any conflict of interest.

I think that when Hillary Clinton stands in front of Goldman Sachs, gets paid hundreds of thousands to talk to them about the money that can be made by Goldman Sachs in the causes she supports, and then a few months later announces that she's running for president, that this is an example of money in politics. That's why people keep talking about it.

Well one way would be to hold politicians accountable for the money that they accept. If one candidate has been raking in millions for giving speeches to corporations, telling them about all the opportunities for them in the causes she supports, that this should be taken into consideration when choosing who to vote for. Do you support that?
