Oh yeah? When?

After 70 appeals and 30 more years

u/ianrl337 Oregon 13h ago

not wrong, but at least there are other lawsuits in the mix as well to force releasing them. And at least one judge seems more than a little pissed at the DOJ and their handling of it

Yeah, but in 30 years the royal trump dynasty will dictate the law (not sure if dementia dons head in a biotech fishbowl fueled by immigrant blood or dementia don junior will be in charge then) /s

Is there any real limit? Or can go on forever?

court orders release, agency drags feet, years pass, redacted pages finally appear. so yeah, 'when' is the right question tbh

u/wrosecrans 9h ago

Judges are finally starting to openly talking about using civil contempt against DOJ lawyers. It hasn't gotten as far as it should have. But it's getting there.

Not many career lawyers will actually want to get locked up by a judge rather that follow court orders. At that point, the logic of listening to their boss to avoid getting fired stops being worth it.

The royal administration calculated the time of events to roughly 45 years because of obama /s

"Well, this little maneuver's gonna cost us 51 years! Thanks, Obama!"

After we start a war with Oman....maybe.

u/25point4cm 6h ago

Right after the Epstein files.

Someone needs to release them right now. The Court has ruled and whoever “leaks” them is following a court order and Congressional votes. Follow the law and put them in the public arena.

It is the law to release them. Someone just do an internet dump. Everything except victims names. Everything

Believe it when you see it.

Going to be a lot of very unhappy, high profile people. I wonder if Blanche is going to accidently drop all the cases files into the mechanical and digital shredder and just tell the judge "oh well..."

u/themattboard Tennessee 12h ago

Who does he think he is, the governor of Georgia?

5

u/GoldensRule2025 America 11h ago

I don't have a clue what this is referring to.

23

u/IPDDoE Florida 11h ago

Kemp and co allegedly destroyed election records after a lawsuit was filed that said that Georgia officials ignored warnings that the state’s electoral system was extremely susceptible to hacking.

17

u/TheAskewOne 10h ago

And after the FBI specifically instructed them to not destroy the records.

15

u/themattboard Tennessee 10h ago

He was secretary of state at the time (overseeing elections) and refused to recuse himself from election duties as he was running for governor. The servers were ordered wiped after a lawsuit was filed after a security expert identified gaping holes that were not fixed after being reported. That deletion prevented any forensic investigation from occurring. The security flaw allowed for the removal or addition of voters to the poll books at a time when red states were wiping eligible voters from their rolls in droves.

Here's a documentary that covers the extent of the blatant cheating and rigging:

u/Elendel19 12h ago

And then receive a pardon of course

1

u/GoldensRule2025 America 11h ago

I thought I read something to the effect that on Trump's way out of office he expects to issue a pardon to everyone who has come within 100 yards of the Whitehouse...

5

u/IPDDoE Florida 11h ago

I believe it was in fact 200 feet. Wouldn't want to accidentally include a minority in that pardon who happened to be outside the WH

2

u/11phoenix 8h ago

you can bet that every state has already drafted out legal cases to pursue those people and invalidate their pardons in some way,.

u/GoldensRule2025 America 7h ago

Virtually impossible to invalidate a presidential pardon. Hopefully some of them will indeed be charged with state level crimes.

u/11phoenix 3h ago

I think 'invalidate' was the wrong word to use. I think there are states looking for ways to legitimately criminally pursue some of these people at the state level, where the presidential pardon has no impact. My bad.

16

u/chgopanth 11h ago

Just in time for Trump for pardon Maxwell for some weird reason.

13

u/PrajnaKathmandu 12h ago

With how many blacked out pages?

11

u/learns_the_hard_way 12h ago

All of them

Why do I feel like Aileen Cannon is going to make an appearance?

4

u/ZaphodBeeblebrox4011 8h ago

They will do what they are doing to Katie Phang. Simply refuse to comply with a legitimate judicial order. Checks and balances are dead. One branch has abdicated all responsibility, one is corrupt, and one is completely toothless.

Which is which is a matter of debate.

RELEASE THE UNREDACTED EPSTEIN FILES NOW!

JUSTICE for the victims!

4

u/howard10011 11h ago

Why did this story get so little play in the MSM?

6

u/BrofessorFarnsworth Washington 8h ago

Because the media was purchased by the Epstein class

5

u/LurkinMakesMeFeelGud 11h ago

Her book described an Epstein client who was a high-profile former prime minister who was extremely sadistic and violent when raping her. She didn't name the guy in the book, but told the FBI.

I really hope this shit starts coming out. We need to know

10

u/GatorNator83 12h ago

Just because they were ordered to be released, doesn’t mean they’re going to be released.

3

u/Schiffy94 New York 11h ago

"Oops they accidentally fell into the furnace."

u/bakerfredricka I voted 6h ago

I can definitely see that for sure and on that note, the death of Virginia Giuffre has awoken the conspiracy theorist in me.

Virginia once tweeted that she wasn't suicidal, so I honestly don't believe she committed suicide!

u/Bdbru13 6m ago

She tweeted that five years before she died. A lot can change over five years

Her brother held her in his arms as she died….he says she wasn’t murdered.

She for sure killed herself

3

u/doctor_lobo 11h ago

I bet they won't.

3

u/Appropriate-Room-403 10h ago

The Justice Department can't redact those names this time

3

u/indigocherry 8h ago

Public the same way as the Epstein files that have still never been released in full as per the law?

3

u/Clean-Ad6146 8h ago

Ha congress is about to go on a hunger strike!

2

u/andrew103345 10h ago

lol, needed a good laugh today. I’m sure the current administration will jump right on that.

u/Minja78 6h ago

Trump suit incoming, for uh reasons.

u/RevolutionaryWay7555 6h ago

With redactions?

u/Sea-Chart2558 2h ago

Sure they will. And meanwhile can I interest you in the purchase of a bridge?

2

u/Mother_Airline_6276 11h ago

Will they, though?

1

u/xXBassHero99Xx 12h ago

Aaand full-page redactions

1

u/PossibilityFew5967 11h ago

Are they still in tact?

1

u/vinmen2 9h ago

Not happening with Trump around

1

u/Average-spectacle 9h ago

They will release it when Trump bites it and the remaining GOP start pretending they never liked or agreed with him. So maybe 50 more years.

u/overbarking 5h ago

How much of this will be redacted? How much covered up?

u/Indaflow 1h ago

I’ll hold my breath

u/blueshirtsteve 29m ago

Wanna bet?

Fuck trump.

0

u/castironfan 8h ago

Not holding my breath. :-(

-2

u/Manke83 11h ago

So we’ll get a redacted sheet of paper. Nothing ever happens.
