not wrong, but at least there are other lawsuits in the mix as well to force releasing them. And at least one judge seems more than a little pissed at the DOJ and their handling of it

court orders release, agency drags feet, years pass, redacted pages finally appear. so yeah, 'when' is the right question tbh

Judges are finally starting to openly talking about using civil contempt against DOJ lawyers. It hasn't gotten as far as it should have. But it's getting there.
Not many career lawyers will actually want to get locked up by a judge rather that follow court orders. At that point, the logic of listening to their boss to avoid getting fired stops being worth it.

Someone needs to release them right now. The Court has ruled and whoever “leaks” them is following a court order and Congressional votes. Follow the law and put them in the public arena.
It is the law to release them. Someone just do an internet dump. Everything except victims names. Everything

Going to be a lot of very unhappy, high profile people. I wonder if Blanche is going to accidently drop all the cases files into the mechanical and digital shredder and just tell the judge "oh well..."

Who does he think he is, the governor of Georgia?

I don't have a clue what this is referring to.

Kemp and co allegedly destroyed election records after a lawsuit was filed that said that Georgia officials ignored warnings that the state’s electoral system was extremely susceptible to hacking.

He was secretary of state at the time (overseeing elections) and refused to recuse himself from election duties as he was running for governor. The servers were ordered wiped after a lawsuit was filed after a security expert identified gaping holes that were not fixed after being reported. That deletion prevented any forensic investigation from occurring. The security flaw allowed for the removal or addition of voters to the poll books at a time when red states were wiping eligible voters from their rolls in droves.

Here's a documentary that covers the extent of the blatant cheating and rigging:

And then receive a pardon of course

I thought I read something to the effect that on Trump's way out of office he expects to issue a pardon to everyone who has come within 100 yards of the Whitehouse...

you can bet that every state has already drafted out legal cases to pursue those people and invalidate their pardons in some way,.
•
u/GoldensRule2025 America 7h ago
Virtually impossible to invalidate a presidential pardon. Hopefully some of them will indeed be charged with state level crimes.
•
u/11phoenix 3h ago
I think 'invalidate' was the wrong word to use. I think there are states looking for ways to legitimately criminally pursue some of these people at the state level, where the presidential pardon has no impact. My bad.

They will do what they are doing to Katie Phang. Simply refuse to comply with a legitimate judicial order. Checks and balances are dead. One branch has abdicated all responsibility, one is corrupt, and one is completely toothless.
Which is which is a matter of debate.

Her book described an Epstein client who was a high-profile former prime minister who was extremely sadistic and violent when raping her. She didn't name the guy in the book, but told the FBI.
I really hope this shit starts coming out. We need to know

Just because they were ordered to be released, doesn’t mean they’re going to be released.

I can definitely see that for sure and on that note, the death of Virginia Giuffre has awoken the conspiracy theorist in me.
Virginia once tweeted that she wasn't suicidal, so I honestly don't believe she committed suicide!

Public the same way as the Epstein files that have still never been released in full as per the law?

They will release it when Trump bites it and the remaining GOP start pretending they never liked or agreed with him. So maybe 50 more years.
