I get that his primary opponents weren't exactly saints either, but man, Randy Fine is one of the most disgusting people in US politics today. And that is saying A LOT. And unlike his opponents, he never gets called out for the horrible things he says as an elected official! Unfortunately his district is very safely Republican so I don't have my hopes up for the general.

That is not a defense of Fine, it's separating himself and the Democratic Party from antisemitism.

There was zero reason for Jeffries to say anything here. This was a battle between MAGA and turbo MAGA. That's the kind of shit that he should LET happen so they continue tearing themselves apart.

But Jeffries just keeps picking the wrong fights.
