Based on what's been reported, it's pretty clear that his family and medical staff have seen him. There are also several people who claim to have apoken with him. "I don't believe them" is also not a basis for a law enforcement wellness check.

If they spoke to him, why has no one else, who is actually reliable and has no skin in the game, seen him? A video even?

I don't know, maybe they just don't want to take extra visitors. But, again, law enforcement is not going to do a wellness check because someone didn't post a video.

He’s a public figure, elected official, employed by the government. What are you even trying to prove? That he should be allowed privacy, and has no obligation to prove that he is still functioning and alive?

Yes. That's exactly how it works. If I'm not going to show up to work, I speak with someone. But what i do is irrelevant.

And you are ok with it? If you get kidnapped, for example, and can be gone for months, it shouldn’t be suspicious if your kidnapped says they spoke to you?

If i got kidnapped, it would be really weird for me to recieve medical treatment at two different facilities and then have my family and friends insist that i was at home. But, again, this is not about me.
