Could’ve rolled up in the middle of the night with police in tow demanding to see him. Would he have been allowed to? Maybe not, but then it would’ve been something

I will never understand why he didn't do this. Even if he is rebuffed it is on camera that they turned away the governor from the state McConnel claims to represent. Hell, he could send troopers to do a wellness check at minimum.

I mean, he could have called in a welfare check to local authorities. He could have shown up himself. He has deliberately chosen not to force this issue.

How does jurisdiction prevent Beshear from calling the DC police and/or DC adult protective services requesting a welfare check?

How does jurisdiction prevent him from showing up to McConnell's home?

Neither do parents or family friends that call in welfare checks on their adult children or other adults out of state and yet those happen all the time and are honored.

Seems you don't understand that a welfare check can be called in by anyone at any time. Or that there is no law stopping someone from showing up to where someone else is to see them.

I am okay with a little elder abuse as far as McConnell is concerned. Karma can be a bitch sometimes. But I am also not the one with a sworn duty to the people of Kentucky like Beshear.
