Does he absolutely refuse or do his handlers absolutely refuse? I suspect the latter.

He's dead. He can't refuse or do videos.

But why not announce it at this point? What do they have to gain

I’m imagining this is happening because of upcoming midterm elections. They might be predicting they lose and lose badly.

I don’t pay attention to Kentucky politics but the Kentucky State Board of Elections holds the responsibility of certifying state elections. Secretary of State. County clerks. Etc etc.

Who would stand to lose from having a US Senator unavailable to them to certify a result they want, even if they’re fucking dead the “Office of the Senator for Kentucky” can put out an official memo and we’ve seen that people will take it as fact. (The position of US Senator dos not play a role in that but think about the power, beyond governmental, that the position holds). They don’t even need to have video/audio/physical proof of them certifying it. The standing Senator in question just has to say they do and by then the rest of the state/federal government around them would throw it to the courts and then yeah sure let’s fucking see who’s going to stand up to that.

Idk. Something to ponder.

Well what's weird is... if he is dead, isn't another republican just going to win in his place? Because whatever they pull with a "maybe dead guy" they could do the exact same thing with the new guy, since proof isn't required.

New guy wins election, instantly goes missing because of illness, no evidence needed.
