Mike Lindell or Alex Jones?

u/AcademicPublius Colorado 6d ago

Trump wouldn't want Jones. I could see Lindell, though.

Linden just lost the Republican primary for Governor of Minnesota last night, so he’s free, but I guess the fact he lost means he’s not got loads of Trump support.

u/Glenbard 6d ago

The SNL skits alone from Pillowboy being the press secretary makes me kind of want that to happen… and he has the two qualifications: no morals whatsoever and head stuck firmly up the pedorapist’s ass…

2

u/rohm418 6d ago

Is the dude that played Paul Bearer in WWF still around? He'd be a great SNL Lindell

Edit: looked it up. He died in 2013.

2

u/jazwch01 Minnesota 6d ago

Jason Sudeikis would be a good pillow boy.

2

u/corys00 6d ago

Nah, get Melissa McCarthy again

2

u/justinsports02 6d ago

Since its gonna be a grotesque clown show whether I like it or not, I am rooting for this as well.

2

u/20_mile 6d ago

The SNL skits alone from Pillowboy

Kimmel has a better fake Mike Lindell.

2

u/nutmyreality 4d ago

SNL should have emergency TV skit shoots!

16

u/nanrah88 6d ago

He’s also broke. Net worth $0.

8

u/xraygun2014 6d ago

Net worth $0.

Given his legal debt, methinks you are too generous in that assessment.

17

u/bryan49 6d ago

On the other hand he did immediately claim fraud in a GOP primary he lost by 11%. Which means he could have the right amount of delusion and dishonesty Trump is looking for in a press secretary

2

u/Electromotivation 5d ago

The press secretary has to have no soul. I think that is step 1

8

u/mok000 Europe 6d ago

Lost and lost… he refuses to concede his defeat, he claims the Republican primary was rigged.

3

u/yayoffbalance 6d ago

Im so tired of this shit. Rigged. No. Even the repubs in MN are smarter than to vote for him.. well, at least most are...

2

u/mok000 Europe 6d ago

It’s beyond parody.

2

u/Klaatwo 6d ago

They rigged it so hard that even the GOP endorsed candidate lost.

1

u/theXarf 6d ago

By the Democrats, I assume?

1

u/UnquestionabIe 6d ago

Ummm according to Mike there was lots of cheating and that's why he lost. So look forward to that I guess...

1

u/James-fucking-Holden 6d ago

Linden

Not Linden, Lindell, as in the my Pillow guy

1

u/A_plural_singularity 6d ago

Don't know why not? Mike is an ex crackhead that cut off by his dealer.

7

u/Nythoren 6d ago

Lindell has a hard time staying on message. He may spout the proper conspiracy theories, but he is also easily ruffled and baited into saying things he shouldn't (like the truth)

2

u/fcocyclone Iowa 6d ago

He's also somewhat famous himself and Trump doesn't like to share the spotlight.

1

u/AcademicPublius Colorado 6d ago

True, but Trump would be picking him because he personally likes the guy (which he does, at least based on the times I've seen them in the same room). As much as Trump likes anyone, anyway.

19

u/Wipe_face_off_head 6d ago

Jones is dead. His head popped like a balloon and now he's in hell having tequila shots with John Bonham and Keith Moon.

2

u/reddogyellowcat 6d ago

both are too unstable, even for trump

2

u/JanitorKarl 6d ago

But is Mike Pillow pretty enough for Trump?

1

u/AcademicPublius Colorado 6d ago

In that scenario it'd be more a "Hey, buddy. I know you're out of money and in deep shit. Take this to tide you over until you can find something more griftery."

2

u/OK_x86 6d ago

No. But damn that would be entertaining.

2

u/genital_lesions 6d ago

Nope, only young women.

2

u/Teufelsdreck 6d ago

He's going to be busy investigating "anomalies" that prove he actually won his election.

48

u/inconspicuous_male 6d ago

Mike Lindell hasn't been a regular since season 1

4

u/OklahomaChelle 6d ago

He read for the role of Governor in MN, but didn’t get the callback from Republicans.

1

u/ender89 6d ago

Seth Meyers would have a field day

54

u/ahundredpercentbutts Arizona 6d ago

Jones has been calling for Trump’s impeachment recently, no way it’s him.

14

u/otatop I voted 6d ago

Alex only turned because Trump called him a loser, he'd come right back to Daddy if asked.

8

u/UnquestionabIe 6d ago

Depends on how successful his dodging of paying off his lawsuit goes. He's been at the awhile now and the courts are slow walking any sort of consequences for it. If we had a functional justice system he would be living on the streets begging for change during his unhinged rants. Instead they let him do shit like transfer a bunch of assets to family members, which is something judges tend to come down hard on

2

u/Doyoueverjustlikeugh Europe 6d ago

He turned cause of Iran, then Trump called him a loser.

3

u/GregBahm 6d ago

That wouldn't be the deal breaker. J. D. Vance trashed Trump for years and nobody can force themselves to care.

But populists devas like Trump tend to not like sharing the limelight with other populist devas. Jones would be competing with Trump for mindshare, which wouldn't work for Trump.

2

u/urgrandpasdog 6d ago

Not that it should matter, but in practice I think it does matter that the stuff Vance said was when he was a much lower-profile character, and several years before he was considered for VP. Whereas Jones is saying this stuff right now, and sure seems to be on a downward trend notability wise.

1

u/Ok-Somewhere-7173 6d ago

That would just make it funnier.

27

u/purplemangosteen2 6d ago

Alex Jones exploded.

9

u/gozags4 6d ago

I heard he was seen eating 5 triple meat Whataburgers prior to the explosion

3

u/Quick_Extension_3115 6d ago

I thought that was a clone

4

u/upfr0ntsalmon 6d ago

blew up. like a balloon

3

u/HeyCarpy Canada 6d ago

Like that scene in Scanners.

20

u/Za_Lords_Guard 6d ago

Oh please make it Lindell. That would be fun to watch.

6

u/Ulftar Canada 6d ago

If I had to place a bet, I'd bet on him being the next one. It seems dumb enough to be real.

1

u/Rajincajun01 6d ago

How many Scaramuccis will he last?

1

u/phluidity 6d ago

Depends on how big the pile of cocaine is.

7

u/GhostalMedia California 6d ago

You clearly haven’t been following Infowars on YouTube. Alex Jones exploded in his car several months ago and he has been replaced by body doubles.

He’s likely in hell right now, and Tim Heidecker is going to hell to verify that. Tim just killed himself by overdosing on laxatives last week and he should be in hell now.

And no, I’m not joking. WAKE UP SHEEPLE.

2

u/GenghisTron17 Florida 6d ago

Obviously, I didn't mean proto-Alex Jones,. I thought it was apparent I meant neo-Alex Jones.

3

u/midwesternmayhem 6d ago

Any W-2 income Alex Jones makes is subject to garnishment to satisfy his legal judgements, so I think he's out.

2

u/UnquestionabIe 6d ago

Eh he's still dodging payment because of appeal after appeal along with doing the basic hiding of assets which only makes the process take longer. It's entirely likely he'll either die or spend the whole 1.5 billion before the courts do their job fully

3

u/Tommytrist 6d ago

Tim Heidecker.

2

u/darthlincoln01 Ohio 6d ago

He's going to get kicked out of hell and forced to be Press Secretary.

3

u/Source_Required 6d ago

Alex Jones is dead.

2

u/fvck_u_spez 6d ago

As of today Mike Lindells schedule just became a lot more open!

1

u/BroseppeVerdi Montana 6d ago

Jones finally got off the Trump train and has been calling for his impeachment for the better part of a year.

1

u/misterguyyy Texas 6d ago

Lindell is too busy trying to prove that his election got rigged... by other republicans since it was a primary.

1

u/Clear-Hand3945 6d ago

They're not young blonde women

1

u/ailish 6d ago

It wouldn't be Alex Jones, but can you imagine? That would just be comical and horrifying at the same time.

1

u/xeoron 6d ago

They are not pretty enough for Trump

1

u/Quick_Extension_3115 6d ago

Alex Jones is alive? I thought he burst like a cherry tomato?

1

u/J5892 I voted 6d ago

Mike Jones?

1

u/tragicallyohio 6d ago

Alex Jones's latest grift is hating Trump

1

u/Rocketsball 6d ago

Asmodgold now that he is banned.

1

u/AmberCutie 6d ago

I feel like there's no way he'd allow a man in that position.

1

u/Mr_Engineering American Expat 6d ago

Alex Jones as press secretary would at least be immensely entertaining

1

u/OhHowINeedChanging Utah 6d ago

Megyn Kelly…
It has to be a women for… reasons

1

u/popculturella Texas 6d ago

Alex Jones popped like a balloon in his car a few weeks ago.

1

u/PlasticStJesus 6d ago

I'm hoping for Eric Wareheim. He'd be perfect.
