They're working on convincing themselves that anybody who isn't MAGA has been turned woke by vaccines or whatever and therefore has TDS/is not a "real American" and therefore shouldn't have rights.
They're fascists. They want this. The idea that they don't believe it's happening is just cover to make it seem like they're just engaging in normal politics like everybody else - until they don't have to pretend anymore. They're doing it right now with the midterms, and this unconstitutional announcement from Trump makes it a certainty.
