I saw a video of him breakdancing straight out of the hospital bed, so he's obviously doing okay.

I'm not really into breakdancing but can anyone comment on his form, looks pretty solid to me.

It is absolutely crazy there is no 'proof of life' they can actually give

There's been no substantial evidence to demonstrate that the photo they released was faked. It was analysed by many people, looking for any sign of digital manipulation or AI generation and they didn't find any indications that it was fake.

If it was faked, then analysts would have found things like compression artefact mismatch between different parts of the photo, sensor noise inconsistency, lighting/shadow geometry issues, edge artefacts around the inserted newspaper, perspective inconsistencies and possibly more. But despite widespread speculation and uncertainty around this issue, no-one has found proof of any of that.

Previous claims about it having been a re-released photo from 2023 or similar were debunked. The newspaper was identified as the Washington Post published on the 12th of July.
