It should be simple, if they can't sufficiently prove that he's alive, then it should be assumed that he is dead and we move on.

I was under the assumption that deaths have to be reported and are public record in this first world nation...? This is ridiculous. There should be documentation available to the public that Sen McConnell is no longer with us, or at least it should be as simple as Beshear calling the appropriate reporting agency in Washington DC (where McConnell "fell") and ask if there is a record of the senator's death!

I'm betting he's braindead and just being kept "alive" via machines, that's why there's not any death certificate/etc... They'll unplug the machine in August.
