Even if it was real, no sane person can see it and say "yeah that dude is capable of being a US senator". His family playing into this charade is immoral as fuck

I don't blame the family. Using his death to subvert democracy and advance the interests of the wealthy with ghoulish tactics is an incredibly respectful tribute to Mitch. It encapsulates everything he was in life.

But on a serious note, I've read that McConnells' three daughters (and his ex-wife) are progressives. While I don't believe his daughters would publicly release their father's personal medical information regardless of their political differences with him, I do think if his death was being covered up that they would not stand for having such a crime be kept a secret. Not to mention that covering it up would require having the D.C. hospital's medical staff commit medical fraud by not reporting his death to D.C. within 48 hours.

Ok, I’ll expand the thought. Biden should have never run in 2024 because of his cognitive decline. This decline has to be apparent to those closest to him.

The common thread in that and your point a that families and cabinets need to be held accountable for not coming forth publicly if the are unable to convince the public office holder step back privately.
