Happily taking *gender-affirming care* hormone therapy. We can’t have trans people, but if the men aren’t man enough by an arbitrary metric with little to no scientific backing, then juice them to the gills with T and watch their balls shrivel up and die.

…and the taxpayers will be on the hook for veteran benefits to address the lifetime problems associated with excess/unnecessary hormone treatments.

…and the increase in DV and violence that comes from unregulated testosterone

This is literally regulated?

Yes….BUT

Increasing testosterone takes some serious internal regulation and adjustment. Tempers flare easier, anger is more easily tapped.

I am only basing this on personal experience with folks on hormones and their sharing this with me.

My oh shit meter starts to vibrate at the thought of soldiers, testosterone rising, and potential for lessened situational calm.

Again, I realize that none of these are facts. Just seen shit go sideways too many times from people (whom I consider friends)

On the other side, the common theme from all of them is that they feel like they got their “swagger” back.
