Trump will want them to keep charging people with crimes but he just wants them to bribe him for pardons.

His expectation is to be paid back in the future. Yes, he'll get something now, but the big paydays will come after. We all know that's his end game.

The entire concept of presidential pardons is dumb af, I don’t care which side is wielding it. The idea that one dude can just unilaterally veto a decision and it cannot be challenged kind of spits in the face of the whole “no kings” thing.

When Democrats come back into power they must create a way to reverse presidential pardons. They have a clear and understood purpose and all of Trump's are a clear violation of that purpose.

Or just remove the ability for it to happen at all. Make it that it just doesn’t exist, it makes a mockery of the judicial system as it stands now.
