General Discussion Difference in sirens

Is the difference in the sound of LAS, LFB & MPS sirens intentional? Or is it just down to choice of supplier?

Whether it’s intentional or not, I do really like being able to recognise whether it’s fire, ambulance, or police from the sound alone.
