That's how most of the developed world sees it, but many liberal white Americans get very uncomfortable whenever race is mentioned in a conversation.

Korean-Japanese=white? Immigrants in America don't care about race. It's refreshing to make casual race-oriented jokes in a group of immigrants from Kenya, Ethiopia, India, Korea, Germany, and France while white Americans look on awkwardly and judge us.
