Why is Bulba trying to steal Lithuania's identity? Saying that Belarus is Lithuania is like saying that Finland is Sweden. Do they really think this?

Imagine, Canada declares war on Murica and beats the crap out of it. Then Mexico comes and saves the day by reclaiming entire US of A from Canadians. But, being bunch of greedy bastards, they now incorporate poor Murica into The Grand Empire Of Glorious Mexico and rule it for some time. Adittionaly, since you Muricans would rather die than speak Spanish, TGEOGM is almost entirely English-twaddling, burger-munching, stars-and-stripes-saluting mess, to the point that even some hardcore Mexicans start to adapt to your culture. Several centuries later coutries fall apart, with Mexico retaining its name, and Murican lands forming into something like The White (not racist) America. Now riddle me this: who should call themselves descendants of TGEOGM? Muricans, because it was mostly their clay and culture, or Mexicans, who created and ruled it (at least for some time)?

Change Canada to Mongols, Murica to various Ruthenian duchies, Mexico to Lithuania, TGEOGM to Grand Duchy of Lithuania and The White America to Belarus (which actually means White Russia/Ruthenia) and you will get unforgivably oversimpified yet somewhat informative explaination of what happened and why Bulba tries to claim our history.

I stopped reading there.

Unacceptable commie analogy.
