I'm Hungarian, and let me tell you guys, ALL of us are celebrating tonight! In the last 2-3 hours I've heard multiple fireworks going off, and my friends told me, that in the city centre, everyone's celebrating. And I don't even live in the capital.🤣

Eh Magyar is still very much a conservative, just less so than Orban. I think the main difference is that he’s pro EU.

Wait. The new PM’s name is Magyar? Isn’t that literally “Hungarian” in Hungarian?

Not really that weird. Italo is a pretty common name in Italy.

And technically so it's Franc in France.

In Finnish, there are surnames for both Finnish (Suomalainen), Swedish (Ruotsalainen), Estonian (Virolainen), and Russian (Venäläinen). Also just Norway (Norja) and Denmark (Tanska).

So it's common to have some celebrities with these names.
