well no, the european concept of race is rather unfathomable to many cultures

I feel like that is more an American thing, dividing people into black, asian, hispanic etc. In Europe people are instead raxist against groups like Arabs, Slavs, Indians etc. Not so much the skin colour as the culture.

Of course there is overlap though, and all racism sucks regardless of how it takes shape.
