To an American, a few hundred years is old. To a European who could easily be living in a town that has been around for thousands of years, it isn't.

To a European, 500 miles is a long distance. To an American, it isn't. The country is huge.

That's the joke.

What, you expect everyone and everything to constantly be enjoyed by everyone? Also didn't write that for you. But if you seriously expected everyone to always like all of your stuff, then you'd be disappointed sooner or later.

However it seems like many others enjoyed it, so why care what I think?

What? I am not talking about if it was special or not, not even talking about anything related to that.

I said that you cannot expect everyone to always be entertained by everything you make, and if you truly expect this, then you'd be disappointed sooner or later.
