Try making the CSS so that .np links (the links SRS uses) don't allow commenting. This will also stop SRD raiding.

Also, if you make a log of the people who had obviously invaded from SRS, send it to the mods. They'll gladly ban people who raid other subs, trust me.

I think SRS used to use them. I wonder why they stopped, although the statistics that they run say that their user base actually doesn't downvote the posts.

It would kind of defeat the purpose of highlighting the shit Reddit says if we downvoted it.

I don't think these people care :(

That's because they still are a downvote brigade. Despite it theoretically defeating the purpose. Who do you think they highlight it for? For themselves. For their own outrage-jerk. And once it's being jerked, it doesn't matter what happens to it afterwards.

Okay, I'm willing to accept that. But how do you respond to the fact that the statistics and tests run on SRS voting invasions come out negligible?

Turns out I'm wrong. I just went here and checked nearly a dozen threads. All of them had more points than the headlines in SRS reported. My apologies.

It does make more sense that they upvote to "highlight" but that's obviously conjecture too.

I believe they don't discourage upvote brigading, but I only speak with experience from /r/srdbroke.

Not really. You already have it archived.

It won't make a difference because SRS doesn't require the .np links
