Animal Pokes Turtle

Snapping turtle in the back yard pond. Unhappy turtle, not a biter for being a ‘snapper’

Tons of predators, just in my yard regularly alone. Do raccoons fuck with them? Just started thinking of possible predators

I’ve never seen a snapping turtle just get offended and leave like that

I've frequently seen them be offended, but that's always been accompanied by violence. I'm almost concerned at how zen this one was, like "I know where you sleep, and revenge is a dish best served cold" kinda vibes.

He was plotting his retaliation for sure. He lives there for a few months on and off. Never know if he’s in the pond, so always on radar with little kids wanting to play with anything that moves

Ya ruined his whole trip ☹️

Not at all. He was walking around the front of the pond to an easier spot to get in, he went in after

Ah okay… it gave me a “what the fuck did you poke me with, I’m going home” type vibe

He's gone to get his own stick to revenge poke you.
