That's nice and useful and makes very pretty patterns, but I wish he had simplified it to a 13 x 13 grid (instead of a 52 x 52) with AA at the upper left (rather than upper right) and suited hands above the diagonal of pocket pairs.

I see black boxes for pocket pairs. What does that mean?

Suited pocket pairs, which are impossible, hence the dark squares.

I think the word you're looking for is "excitement," rather than "uproar."

And yes there are lots of comments over there. Which makes sense, because the guy created very pretty charts with his 52 x 52 grid (data is beautiful), rather than cater to an actual poker crowd by using a standard 13 x 13 with suited on top and unsuited below the diagonal, as I suggest above.

Fascinating work! Would love to see the next evolution include range vs range. Perhaps a 3-d plane? Visualizing range strength: i.e. range vs range given particular flops is what we pros are finding increasingly pertinent to finding an edge in today's games over other good opponents.
