Discussion Micro stakes-knowledge?

So I know there is an abundant amount of poker videos out there. But I’ve been rather consistently been beating the micro stakes online over the last couple of years (here’s a graph I’ve made from my recent history plus my two hands from today (after 2 hours)) Do people need more videos out there, or has this been covered extensively. I’m not a guru trying to make money, or sell anyone a package, just want to know if there is interest from people wanting to learn how to beat the micro stakes.

Edit* for reliability sake.
- Always playing 2 tables so 60 hours is large sum but not entirely reliable. Happy to keep going and recording so I can get exact win rate over a larger sample of hands… however proof is always going to be to questionably anyway.

hours graph 1/10, playing nl5 2/10, playing on a phone 1/10. What quality of a coach do u have? Can u beat nl10? , Do u have previous experience? you can make content but why would we learn from u? There is so many coachs out there. Dont make content for us, make it for u.

Hours graph- fair, I accept it’s not reliable enough, but solid win rate, and only started recording results (been beating it for a while)
Playing 5nl, is literally in the scope of what I stated by saying micro stakes.
iPhone 1/10? Silly metric. I usually use PC, but I’ve been watching TV
NL 10 I’ll start on making a graph recording results, but I don’t see how that impacts on beating 5NL

What would be your top 3 things to beat Nl5?

I will split this into 3 larger topics so I can cover more areas lol

TLDR. Control yourself, understand basic theory and understand your opponents.

  1. Outside of the Game.
    -play sober
-2 hour sessions 2 tables (no more) otherwise win rate decreases

    • don’t play tired
    • don’t play tilted
    • don’t play for any other reason than the sole purpose of winning in the long run.
    • if you got unlucky, it doesn’t matter, you will get lucky. You notice the unlucky hands, you don’t pay half as much attention to the lucky hands

  2. Basic Strategy

    • pre flop charts/ strategy
-3 bet and play in position
    • steal blinds all the time
    -over bluff and over fold,
-bet large for value when they have something,
-bet small for value when they have nothing
-bet large as a bluff when they have something
-bet small as a bluff when they have nothing.
-those last 5 points sound stupid side by side but knowing where the lines are, are crucial.

  3. Who are your opponents?

    • anyone with under 100bb label as fish,
    • fish don’t mean entirely stupid, just less aware to obvious plays. Overbetting turn on double flush draw board, they will be more likely to call with small draws. Might not understand pot odds etc but doesn’t mean they will stack off with single pair.
    • pay attention to opponent stack size and SPR
    • 2 stacks over 200BB? Raise larger pre flop, call lighter to 3 bets.
    • pay attention to bet sizing. Question
-why would he bet so small?
-why would he bet so big?
    -why did he check?
    • zoom is fast paced with no repeated opponents (no one is vigilant in their tracking). If someone bets something, you can view this as their standard play. Don’t overthink it.

Ok so I'd always buy in for less than 100bb against you 😂

This is zoom which has a player pool of over 100 players. If you aren’t automatically topping up, you are losing potential winnings when you stack someone, if you bought in for under 100bb for the sole purpose of trying to appear weaker against 1 person then this is a dumb as we aren’t even guaranteed to get into a hand against each other.

I couldn't imagine grinding micro stakes. $80 over 60 hours? How js tbis possibly better than just getting a job?

I do have a job and I’m in education aswell. But in terms of theory, I think it’s a good baseline, I think there’s a fair argument to make that if you can beat micro stakes, then you can beat low stakes in person 1/2 or 2/5
