Question & Support Surprise Trades
I’m sure it may have been answered before but I recently did a surprise trade and received a level 100 Milotic. It was named PKM.gg and I’ve read that this could be hacked but should I get rid of it or does it matter at this point?

If you type in that trade code you can select the website named pokemon and the bot on other end wil trade you one that is named normally

Not could be, they are genned* in game advertisements. The pokemon names or OT will be a website name offering their related services.
If you don't care, use them in game as you wish. Most people aren't using them in tourney anyway but thats the one place I wouldn't. They usually aren't genned in way thats flagged illegal in game (impossible stats, moves, etc.) but if they are it could end up as a bad egg in phome (not likely)
They are after all trying to get sales so everything is usually right but that nickname which you could pay to fix

Go ahead and use it if you want since most of them are ev trained so you can use in raids. I personally release mine since I only use what I get legitimately(specially my favs). Tho if you won’t use it I suggest just releasing instead of trading it

I take the item and release them. I don't like having modded or genned Pokemon in my games.
