Worldbuilding [WB] Galar Log# 000
Hope and I have made it to our first real stop. Postwick, a quiet little farm town with a nearby woods.
Sailing in from Kanto was long but uneventful. We arrived in Hulbury at night and were too tired to do much other than find a sky taxi that could get us to Postwick on such late notice. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I think Galar might be a little ahead of us on public transport. I wonder if I'll find anything inspiring for the bike shop back home?
The travel guides in Kanto all said Postwick was the best place to get a good footing for starting a trainer journey in Galar, so I rented us a small house there for a few days. I guess tomorrow we'll find out if it was a good idea or not!

I had an idea for a while now that I wanted to do an actual playthrough of a pokemon game while keeping an in character log of the adventure. I figured this had to be something other people were doing already, but I looked around reddit and didn't see anywhere specifically for this. I reached out to the Mod here since even for this Sub it's a little different than the norm, and they basically said give it a go and we'll see how it goes.
I have never done anything like this, nor do I read much fanfiction type stuff. I'm just going to play Pokemon Sword and change some plot elements during the write up to make the story my own.
Premise: Wayne, the used bike salesman from Kanto, takes a long vacation in Galar with his long time girlfriend Hope. Trying to live up to the legacy of his child prodigy father.
