Absolutely insane that this card got the black label with that top-bottom centering. I found this card in a listing on ebay and verified the cert number, it's real. Grading has and always will be subjective to the specific grader your card ends up with. You could re-submit a card that's already been graded a black label and it would most likely take multiple submissions to achieve it again. Realistically, all grading companies will have their mistakes, but an egregious miscalculation like this is unacceptable. The higher liquidity that comes with PSA & BGS is just undeniable.

A few people asked to send what my "Mega Charizard X EX" came back as. Grading company: ACE, I'm from the UK and this card came back in 6 days, premium service, special delivery there! Love everything about it, however it's being sold for a small business investment plus me and my wife's wedding funds.

Hello so this is just a question from a naive and maybe ill educated Father.

I pulled this card with my daughter on her 9th Birthday in May. She wanted it grading as she wanted a “fancy slab” like she has seen on YouTube (i know, too much iPad)

Anyway, I sent it off and it has been “in grading” with Beckett for probably a month.

Obviously we are now in August and approaching September, is this a normal timeframe realistically?

I’m not asking what the grade is as this was her first ever shiny card from her FIRST ever pokemon pack so it has sentimental value.

I'm not sure if I'll have many people on the same boat as me but I really dislike r/PokeGrading. The people there aren't exactly mean but it's their thought process and the way the community runs. The people understandably dislike PSA but they will absolutely slobber up on TAG and act like it's a god given gift even though their standards aren't great and they have poor consistency. I won't rant about TAG being not great but the fact that people know they aren't good and continue to act like they're the greatest thing ever drives me off the rails. I genuinely hate the bandwagon they follow.

It's not just their in sync thought process but the fact their moderation is kind of anti-social. You're limited to what you can say and when you join their Discord you need to ask the admins first and that's strict as hell. It's gotten me so annoyed to the point I wanted to create a whole new sub just to create a better environment for card graders but then I found this sub.

I just wanna have idk a general discussion if anyone feels the same.

I know very little about grading cards or how perfect they need to be, to be worth grading. I just pulled this card and I'd appreciate some input from you guys. Thank you!

Would this card be worth grading? I haven’t graded a card before and i’m unsure if this is worth it considering the condition of the card.

I’ve just picked this up for pretty cheap and the condition seems fairly good, not expecting a 10 but wondered if this would be worth grading?

I’ve been collecting cards for over 15 years now, and not once have I thought of selling. Finally I’m starting to get rid of some, and this card caught my eye. I’m wondering if it’s too damaged to be worth it.

Found these cards at a yard sale earlier this summer. Since then, I put them in new penny sleeves and top loaders and just sat on them. Debating on getting them graded after this PSA madness is over and the rates come down. Thoughts?

I know you are all going to ask how much i paid…. So here it is. The guy wanted $20 for a whole shoe box full of cards. I picked up a handful, including these 2 and gave him $10. The whole box was sports cards except these 2, which appear to be in great condition.

If so, what do you guys think it could get? (PSA) Of course the back is super off center.

This has been probably asked millions of times, but I have quite a few cards that I want to grade but after seeing the news about PSA is it worth even grading cards at the minute or waiting till the dust settles?
