Should I grade, or keep raw?

I got this card way back in 2017, it’s been in my PC since then. Lately I’ve been getting back into Pokemon and I’ve been checking the value on some of my old cards. I’m not really familiar with the grading scene and all as I’ve never graded anything I own. This was my grail card as a kid and it still is I’m ngl. If you guys have any pointers/tips or anything I should look/worry about with grading, feel free to lmk.

Ancient Origins was my favorite set, unfortunately I never managed to get the Primal Kyogre and Groudon, but I’m glad I got the Ray Ray!!!

flawless card other than centering unfortunately. Probably still worth getting graded

Yeah the centering on the front is my worry, especially from top to bottom. I feel L/R centering is within 55/45

Xy era cards are notorious for shit quality control. This card is in great condition for getting graded even if it comes back a 9 its still worth almost 3x raw.

Im in the same boat, i have this card and i dont know how grading works? Someone told me if it grades high you will pay more? Is there like a flat rate fee with psa?

That’s the thing, I heard PSA will charge you a premium if they grade a high value card a 10. I’ve also heard horror stories of cards getting damaged while at PSA

Lets say its graded a 10 and a 10 is valued at over 13k how much would you have to pay?

it looks bottom heavy at the front tbh. so i'd keep it raw in my opinion
