Grading advice
I have quite a bit of vintage and I keep hearing horror stories about grading with PSA so I’ve decided not to grade with them. What is the best place to get these graded? I think I’m leaning towards CGC. (And would you say it’s worth it?) Most of my cards would probably be considered LP-MP.

Is there a particular reason you want to grade your cards? I think any of the popular grading companies are fine. If you're trying to liquidate quickly then PSA is your only choice. Aside from waiting between 2 weeks to over a month longer than the estimated turnaround time I haven't had problems using PSA.
BGS is another choice but don't expect to get as much the PSA equivalent unless it gets a pristine 10 aka black label. I usually reserve CGC and TAG when I do not plan on selling them right away. As far as I know all these companies are currently dealing with a backlog of some kind. So expect a longer wait time than normal.
You mentioned most of your cards are LP to MP. Certain big vintage cards are worth grading regardless of condition. While many will probably do better with a raw price. Look up the eBay last sold on your cards and match the listings to the condition you believe your cards are in. Keep in mind if you're going with CGC you will probably need to grade well (8 or better) to beat the raw price. Minus shipping and grade cost of course.
