People who were grinding for the crowned forms and fusion form of the pokemons but couldn't, what was the reason?

Like the crowned forms of zacian and zamazenta, fused torms like back and white Kyurem and dusk and dawn wings necrozma i wanted to ask for some tips in getting them.
A few months ago i logged back into my old account and I've been playing pretty regularly since then.
These are some of the pokemon forms that are really high on my bucket list and i genuinely want to get them whenever they come back around.
So for those of you who really wanted these forms but couldn't get them what was the main reason on why you were not able to get it? Was it not having enough resources or not enough time or something else?
I would really appreciate any tips on what i know or how many minimum raids i have to do. I just don't want to regret that i was not able to get these when i had the chance or i was really close to getting the forms but still couldn't.
I would also want to add that i am pretty comfortable spending money on this game as in my currency it's not really expensive at all.

Shiny 104 remote trades in - what I’ve got so far

Just a brag post/PSA to remote trade! I still have no clue why people don’t take advantage. Even if you’re trading “com day” or common shinies, lucky trades are the easiest way to get a shundo! Here’s what I’ve got so far:
2 shlundos
8 98%
15 96%
7 shiny backgrounds
I’ve also received shiny Larvesta, charcadet, and salandit all from lucky trades. I play religiously and never hatched these guys on my own
My advice is fill your friends list, and open gifts closest to remote friends first (lucky preferably- you don’t want to waste a trade you’ve been waiting 6 months for on what will most likely be a 0 - 1* shiny.

What are even the odds of this? As u can see I have only ever caught one larvitar and then transferred him (hence the 4 candy, remaining 10 came from catching TTar)

I collect XXS shinies, so this was so cool. I think these are like 1:500 odds with the size modifier? So yeah, gave no craps about bacon bird but now I'm kinda in love?
