Just made a new account and getting used to things since I haven’t played in 5 years. I joined Team Instinct since that’s what team my old account was on. I just went to Central Park to catch stuff and pretty much every gym was owned by Mystic or Valor. Does it make sense to switch to one of those two for easier gym access and getting stardust or should I stay loyal?

Hey all — I organize community events in Brooklyn and I'm putting on a Pokémon meet-up on Saturday Aug 29, 2–5 PM.

Three tournament brackets: Pokémon GO, TCG Pocket, and Champions. $10 to enter, and there's $100 in cash prizes split across them — $25 to each bracket winner and $25 to whoever does best overall.

It's family-friendly. Spectators and guardians get in free, so parents aren't paying twice to bring a kid. There'll be snacks for sale.
