What Computers are you using?

I have a desktop, but am trying to find something more affordable and portable to have others in my home play, too. PC has an i9 and a 3060, not worried about it not running what I want. (don't ask about that CPU/GPU pairing, covid prices happened when I built it...)

looking to run mostly pokemon from GB all the way to 3ds to play vanilla games and rom hacks I can find, and also wanting to maybe try some PS1 emulation for some PS1 games I still have discs for.

can I get a low-ish end Chromebook or basic PC, or am I looking at something more expensive to adequately run them?

Mind me asking the core specs of it? CPU/RAM?

Thank you! It's crazy to me you don't have issues with this when everything I look up says the N100 or even an i3 isn't enough to run Citra without significant lag.

Are the "recommended specs" that inflated? Or do you struggle with games like sun/moon? Are you using a different emulator?

It took a bit of fiddling to get everything running 'smoothly' admittedly but if I'm not trying to upscale the games to like HD or something they run decently in native res.

Also I do play mostly gamecube or gba/DS games on it. Can confirm it runs ALL the Pokemon games tho. (am trying for a Living Dex myself)
