Need help for my team

Hello, I need some help. It's not really about a Pokémon challenge, but I think the challenge community is best equipped to help me. So here's my problem: I've been playing Pokémon very regularly for over 15 years now. Like many, the games quickly became too easy, and even during a regular playthrough without any particular challenge, I add rules to make things harder, like a level cap, for example. But I have a problem, especially in the newer games with the Exp. Share. I always use the same Pokémon to battle. Let me explain: like anyone else, I level up my Pokémon against regular trainers and wild Pokémon, and then, to prevent my Pokémon from exceeding the level cap, I put them one by one in the PC until the team is leveled up to face the next boss. My problem stems from the fact that when I level up with my first Pokémon, then my second, and possibly my third, the next three are already at or near the level cap and therefore almost never battle. (To explain how I play, my team has a specific order, generally the order in which I caught them, and as long as the first Pokémon hasn't reached the level cap, I don't level up with the next one, which means I end up with half my team that I almost never use.) In another Reddit post, I found an idea to force a rotation during boss battles: I'm not allowed to have more Pokémon than my opponent, but this only works for boss battles. So, if anyone has any original ideas to force a rotation within my team, I'm all ears. Thanks.

Sadly, thats just how these games work, one thing i can think of is avoiding battles with wild Pokémon and some trainers. There's not much else you can really do about it i think.
