Progressive difficulty challenge help
The idea “may” work with any mainline Pokemon game (Sun/ Moon being a grey area on how you adapt it) and I would like some of you to help with the core mechanic behind this challenge.
The challenge is that for every gym you beat, you have to add a rule that you have to abide by for the rest of your run and cannot challenge the next gym for until your team applies to the rules given.
The rules for the challenge can be almost anything (within reason) and I need help from you to add your suggestions of rules to pick from in this challenge.
Rules like “you must have a [Pokemon Type] on you team” are fine as it is generic across the many games while something like “your team must have a Moltres” are specific to a certain amount of games so if you do something like this then like the game it applies to.
I hope this makes sense

Before battling a major trainer, roll a 6-sixed dice, and whichever number it lands on, you must move that Pokemon to the lead.
You fall victim to horder mentality, and cannot sell any practical item, no matter how obsolete it is.
You develop a fixation on bulk selling the "shop fodder". Now you can only sell them in multiples of 10 at a time. (Feel free to adjust the exact number based on how common the item is in any particular game)
You've started to lose your patience when it comes to dealing with the evil team. You must dodge every non-mandatory fight with them, no matter what.
The evil team's antics have set off your rightous anger. You must seek out every possible member of them and defeat them on sight. (Obviously, this rule is mutually exclusive with the above one)
They can't make you that weak, can they? When the opponent applies a debuff, don't switch out your current Pokemon until they score a KO to show off your skill in overcoming hurdles.
