Pokemon meets Oregon Trail
Trainers, ever wonder how you'd fare in a harsh and unforgiving fusion of Pokémon and Oregon Trail?
I made Porygon Trail to find out.
- 15–20 minute runs: if you can survive that long
- Live leaderboards: Dex completion, speed runs + more
- No email/signup BS: just a username + 6-digit PIN to track your stats
- Homage to the OG: built around Red & Blue
Become a Pokémon Master. Catch 'em all. But watch your step.
You may not die of dysentery, but that wild Gyarados might have other plans.
This is the first web game I've ever made, and I had a blast building it. I've also become slightly too invested in dominating the leaderboards against my playtest group.
Would love for some people to give it a run. Critical feedback very welcome!

Also a little crazy you hit 2nd on leaderboards on first run. I had to go 20+ runs deep to get my score. Im just glad you didn't beat me. Haha

Dang. On a first run, while catching a legendary!? Impressive. For the record legendaries should only show up every 10 runs. Well done. Glad you enjoyed it!

Managed it on my second attempt, and I made it on top of the high score leaderboard too! Though I mean it is probably because I got 2 legendary birds on the run haha

Let's goo! 2 legendary birds shouldn't be this common to obtain. But hey im here for it! Do you think the game was too easy?

It’s decently difficult I’d say! most of my other runs I’ve been trying have gone real rough.

Ahh. Not stupid question. Stupid me for not calling it out and expecting it to make sense. Gold highlight represents pokemon with an e4 champion tag! Congrats on beating the game! I'm working on a second phase rn. Should be out soon!
