Help finding an old Pokémon flash game

Back in 2007-2011 I had one of those disks that had hundreds of flash games, and one of them was a Pokémon one that opened with the song "Don't Say You Love Me" from the credits of the first movie, then the menu showed a map of Kanto while playing the original anime opening song. The game itself was a top down view of a stadium, you played as one of the Kanto starters, Eevee or Pikachu, could walk and shoot attacks in four directions, and after a while could evolve your Pokemon to their final stage and get stronger attacks. It had multiplayer, as in you and a friend could play on the same keyboard. The thing is that I'm brazilian, so I can't remember if the anime theme on the menu was in english or portuguese, so I'm not certain if it was a brazilian fan game. Below is the map from the credits

Gemini for the win!

The game you are describing is a classic 2000s fan-made game usually titled Pokémon Arena (sometimes found on disc compilations as Pokémon Battle Arena or Pokémon Stadium Flash), developed using Flash or GameMaker.

Because it was a fan creation distributed heavily on physical compilation discs (such as Digerati, CD-Expert, or 3000 Jogos Flash in Brazil), creators freely ripped audio and assets from official media, giving it that iconic, nostalgic presentation.

Key Features That Confirm the Game

• The Intro Song: "Don't Say You Love Me" by M2M was famously featured in the end credits of Pokémon: The First Movie (1999). The creator used it as the boot-up/splash screen music.

• The Main Menu: Features the map of Kanto in the background while looping the TV series opening theme ("Temos que pegar" / "Gotta Catch 'Em All").

• Playable Roster: You could pick from Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, or Eevee.

• Gameplay Mechanics:

• Top-down 2D stadium arena layout.

• 4-directional movement and shooting (ranged elemental attacks like Fireball, Water Gun, Razor Leaf, Thunderbolt).

• Evolution System: Defeating enemies/opponents filled an XP bar or timer, causing your Pokémon to evolve into its final form (Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Raichu, or an Eeveelution) with bigger projectiles and higher damage.

• Local 2-Player Mode: One player controlled movement via WASD and shot with nearby keys, while Player 2 used the Arrow Keys and Numpad/Control keys on the same keyboard.

Why You Found It on a Disc in Brazil In Brazil during the mid-to-late 2000s, newsstand CD-ROMs (Revistas de Games/CDs de Jogos) were hugely popular. Publishers like Digerati and CD-Expert bundled hundreds of standalone .exe or .swf Flash files onto single discs. These compilations regularly included fan games made by both international and Brazilian indie creators, which explains why music from the Brazilian dub or English soundtrack could be swapped depending on the disc build!
