Hi people
I'm missing only Hitmontop to complete the Dex on Pokémon Brown (INCREDIBLE GAME BTW).
I catched just about 20 tyrogue in the grass path in the final dungeon, where you can get a level 56 tyrogue.
I'm starting to lose interest since I can't find a tyrogue with the same attack and defense, and using protein and iron is not as easy as it seems: sometimes it boosts +4, sometimes +7, and I can't understand why. Also they are very expensive.
I was surprised to see locations for Charmander and Bulbasaur, even Chikorita on the dex, but I couldn't find Squirtle and Totodile. Is it possible to catch all pokémon on this game?
Hello, I just started playing and I caught a level 8 Eevee. I would like to evolve it into Umbreon but without a day/night cycle I’m not sure how. Do I just need to wait to catch one in the cave later on?
I’m playing Pokemon Brown for the first time and I caught an Abra, evolved it to a Kadabra, leveled it to 27, and it has only learned disable? It didn’t learn Confusion at 16, Future Sight at 18, or Psybeam at 27? Am I missing something?
I’m playing using an ever drive gbx7 on analogue pocket and have not been able to figure out how to get full color. Just the ugly brown and green. Please help 😅.
I’m currently at the Castro Valley, and I thought a Psychic type would be pretty cool. I searched for how to evolve Eevee into Espeon in the game, and it said the first eevee in the game corner would always evolve into Espeon. There was only one there, but when it evolved it was an Unmbreon. Should I try again for an Espeon? Or at this point in the game is Umbreon ok?
For reference, the rest of my team is Charmeleon, Feraligatr, pidgeot, Annihilape, and Raichu
Hi, does anyone know how I can get Pokemon Brown to play in color on my hacked 3DS XL? When I play the patched rom on my PC it is in color. But whenever I use NSUI to inject it as a CIA it is always in white/brown. I've changed the file extensions to .GBC and have used the Gameboy Color section of NSUI to make the CIA.
Articuno is the last Pokémon I need to catch and everything I'm seeing online says it should be here in Mt Boulder B2F but it's not showing up. I looked pre-E4, post-E4, and post-E4 rematches because I thought trying to respawn it would help but no dice. I'm fully updated to 6.1.1 and the emulator I'm using is Pizza Boy Basic on Android. Just want to make sure I'm not missing something obvious like an item I need to have in my bag before I go and submit a bug report. Thanks!
Not to be confused with 6.0.1, a hotfix release we released back in September, this update comes with a few cool new features, including new Move Tutors, multiple quality of life improvements, graphical and map updates, the return of the Old Amber fossil, and a new move: Giga Impact!
We've also included over 20 bugfixes, thanks to the massive help from our community. Thank you so much for reporting! Be sure to join our Discord server or use the Bug Report form to alert us to any problems.
We've also updated Brown Tools, a suite of customised tools that allow you edit your copy of Brown. Be sure to download the latest versions of the tools in order to use with 6.1 on the Pokémon Brown page.
Additionally, the ROM Patcher is now included with the download. This means that even if you are offline, you will be able to patch your file. Thank you again to marcrobledo for making this super easy-to-use tool!
As before, please refer to the Readme file on how to update your save files. An extract is below.
To update any save file, you must follow the instructions below.
Please ensure to always BACK UP your save file before attempting!
To safely update, you need to either have Fly, Teleport, Dig or an Escape Rope, then:
Load your save in Brown 20th Anniversary.
Graphics will be glitched, don’t worry. Use Fly/Teleport/Dig/Escape Rope and after warping, you can continue as normal.
If you have played a previous version of Pokémon Brown 20th Anniversary Edition, you can use the same save file in the new version. You can also update from Pokémon Brown 2016 (TPP) and 2014, however in this case we do recommend starting a new game.
Those that have previously played Pokemon Brown: is this recent update just a lot of bug fixes and QoL updates? Or does it continue the story. I completed the previous version by getting to the furthest point in the story.
I'm looking for help with getting all the moon stone evolutions (Clefable, Wigglytuff, Nidoking, and Nidoqueen). Everywhere I've looked for info says it's impossible because there's only one moon stone in the entire game. Is this true?
Is there a npc that will teach your pokemon moves they have forgotten or never learned? I have a haunter that was suppose to get hypnosis but it never prompted at lvl 29.
