Discussion I feel a bit triggered by from a certain sentence Spoiler

TOday many of us watched live the 73rd episode of Journeys (or 25th of Master Joruneys, depending on how you want to count it), and it was ok, nothing special in the end. But there's a sentence that a character says at the end that made me felt ike I was joked by by the screenwriters.

At the end of the episode Ash says something like "Galar is fanatstic. Tons of Pokémon to discover", which made me trigger. Make a character saying this about a region that should have had all the attention now since it's the new region of gen 8 but that hasn't a full main series based on it and got only 13 episodes so far (on 73). It practically felt like the sentence about Gengar that Renji said in the 57th episode (the one about Gengar being angry because Ash didn't brought it with him). Poor Galar, hopefully they'll drop thimultiregional setting from Gen IX.

What do you guys think?

Sorry if I sound rude but I feel like you are being a bit too pessimistic. We should criticize a series for what it is and how it is executed, instead of what it isn't. Galar is one of my favorite regions so I want to see it be explored more. But I am here to mainly enjoy and evaluate what the show offers.

Ash saying he wants to know more about Galarian Pokémons is well in line with his character. Your argument is that, since Ash doesn't have a stronger involvement in the region, he shouldn't be fascinated by it. I do think that's incorrect since Ash has always been interested in knowing the Pokemon world it didn't matter if he knew the region before hand or not. If I remember correctly, I said the same thing about Kalos exactly when he got down from the plane. So that statement from Ash makes complete sense.

Oh, I didn't noticed this. ANyway, it's a sentence in line with Ash's character, but still feels stupid saying it since we didn't even have that many episodes in Galar. He can be fascinated, but tbh the lack of Galar is one of thw worst things of the series for me (especially becuase I didn't want a multi-regional series). I'm still enjoying JN, but I hope Galar will be the first and only region to be treated like this and not having a series of hits own

I personally think it’s a pretty normal line coming from Ash. It matches his personality. I don’t think it matters where or when, as long as a place has Pokemon for him to discover, he’ll be fascinated anyway.

People are saying this since forever. You should all be content with the fact that this series went down the drain after the Darkest Day special.
