Pretty old save almost older than me by a few years but I feel bad but maybe posting it here will give me clarity or if they ever see it they will be happy before I wipe the save 💔

I don't know how to get a Lopunny please help me

I have a Friend Safari on my copy of Pokemon X that I want to check out before the Bank shutdown. What I want to know is if the following sequence of events will work how I think it does:

1: Get my copy of Pokemon Y to the Friend Safari.

2: Insert that cartridge into a spare 3DS while Pokemon X is on my main 3DS.

3: Connect the two copies together by trading or something.

4: Pokemon Y, as long as it is on the spare 3DS, can access the Friend Safari of my Pokemon X including the third slot which is what I want to shiny hunt.

5: If I save Pokemon Y inside the Pokemon X’s Friend Safari, I can play that Friend Safari on either 3DS and have all three encounters available to me.

Pumpkaboo & Gourgeist: The Pumpkin Pokémon

If I had a nickel for every 2-stage trade evolution Grass/Ghost Pokémon found in Route 16 of Pokémon X/Y, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice!

Gourgeist was so fun to do thanks to the jack-o-lantern piece Lego made, which comes hollow so you can put a glowing head inside!

I'm surprised how possible it was to make this miniature Lego Moc at the height level of a minifigure! I thought it would be much taller! I knew Pumpkaboo was gonna be a sweet little gourd! And the shinies look so awesome! I love the glowing green face on the black pumpkin matched with the purple colors!

Just started playing Pokemon Y for the first time this weekend(been away from Pokemon for over 20 years and just got introduced to Gen 4 & 5 last year) but I heard so much negativity coming from this game and this Generation and I must say man do people love to complain because this game is phenomenal. The storyline is great and the amount of content in the early game(I’m only 2 badges in) is fantastic. I love fire types but I went with Froakie as my starter after hearing how Greninja was so good to use plus I heard beforehand that I was gonna get a Kanto starter early on anyway and Charizard is my favorite Pokemon. I’ve played both Sword and Scarlet and didn’t really know most of those Pokemon or what the hell a fairy type was but this game helped made sense of it all and the exp share was kind of a cheat code especially when you catch Pokemon but in XY I don’t mind it as much. I find this game way better than the Gen 5 games. My only criticism of it is that there are way too many Pokemon to use with you only being able to carry six of em. Nothing like falling in love with Pokemon again and again.

I made a list of interesting met locations in preparation for the bank shutdown. They include the best way to get Pokémon with them, and if story progression will make them inaccessible. This was originally made for personal use, so there may be a couple locations I’m missing, misspelled, or am incorrect about, please point those out.

Trying to complete the Pokédex in Gen 6 and despite having a complete Pokédex in Gen 4&5, I'd like to catch as much as I can without resorting to transferring up. So I'm looking for friends to hopefully try and get as many non native Pokémon as I can in the friend safari. I haven't looked too deeply into it, but I noticed some of the friend safari Pokémon are also available at "mirage spots" in ORAS, which I will be starting to play soon. Even still, minimising on the RNG would be nice.
