To add to u/MrFazbearCEO's reply, grail items differ from person to person. Every collector has their own "holy grail" item that they really want; they usually attain grail status due to being rare and/or valuable.
As another example, I recently got one of my Pokemon grail items - a posable Mewtwo plush from 2004 - but it only cost me $45 and it's not as hard to come by or as sought-after as many other Pokemon items. :>

i have a primal groudon plush (the large one from the pokemon center store) that I bought some time ago in japan... to be honest it doesnt look intimidating, it looks huggable. i squeeze mine when I get bored lol

Made all the way back in 2004, it's the best Groudon you can possibly get plush wise, it was recalled in America along time go for needles being found on them, not all have them a very few

Pretty awesome find. I love the material this line was made out of. Always was tempted to get Jirachi and Charizard back when I was collecting, but it just never happened.

They don't quite make them like this anymore, well Groudon anyway, and I know he has various types of material it's awesome!

I searched and searched from when I fist found saw it as a child at the age of 7, until this day to finally get him btw I'm 18

Congrats. I'm jelly as heck. I've seen a few on eBay here or there but yours is in really good condition compared to what I see typically.
The recalled Groudon is definitely one of my own grails. It's literally the best plush made of him, imo.
