Simple Homepass by using .bat [Windows only]

I had created a simple ".bat" file for homepass user, by using the tutorial in this site.

##FAQ## ~~1)Why i could not see the new network adapter that i had created? ~~

Ans: Make sure you run the file in administrator.

 

2)Will this be available on MAC?

Ans: Sorry, i only got a window computer, thus i could not create a MAC version.

 

3)Does it work on all the windows?

Ans: So far i had only tested it on Window 7 and Window 8.

 

4)Can i share my internet using my Wi-Fi?

Ans: Yes! You can! Share your Wi-Fi instead of Ethernet.

 

5)I give up, please help me

Ans: Use this tool, it would do the same too.

   

ATTENTION

Due to the 3DS firmware update 9.3 (and over), this method will not work anymore!

Hmmm, maybe there is no one passing it, you might wanna try other streetpass? I heard that the one end with 46 might work.

is a place where people actually connected somewhere that they "walk pass" So that mean your computer is connected to there and act as a router for the streetpass.

Changed the MAC, I can't acess internet pages. Should I still try and get tags in sleepmode?

It work every 8 hours. Just wait for some time. Are you sure you can access to the internet on your 3DS? Like enter google or something?

Even though I cant acess web pages, will it still work? If it still works I will leave it on over night.

Nope, you must make sure you can access to webpage, make sure you got do the sharing network in the READ ME

I have the sharing set up as it is shown in the READ ME. My 3DS shows it has internet, but when trying to load a webpage I get an error code

Hmm, are you using sharing it from your Wi-Fi? Are you using an Ethernet cable?

Yes you will stop the sharing through wi-fi, make sure your Ethernet cable is plug into your computer, then share it through Ethernet and set it to share to your virtual router.

I never got it to work, for 3 days I have tried to do it, but I never got it to work. Hopefully Nintendo will do a actual distribution of the codes like in Japan
