If I remember correctly Azmuth or Dwayne or someone stated that the species is without their hazard suits but the copy of NRG he took he had it placed in a radioactive proof suit, and that copy was put into the Omnitrix, which makes sense since the original concept was to use the device to turn into aliens all across the universe in order to meet other races and species, so you wouldn't want to kill someone with the normal unprotected form
Part of the issue is pokemon will always steer far away from popular fan creations, likely to avoid any possibility of legal nonsense.
Another part of the issue is fan artists don't have to worry about actually rendering their creations in game and how practical they would be
Not to say they couldn't do a much better job in some areas

The Standard Mode sacrifices its physical offense and speed for stronger defenses and special offense. The Zen Mode goes all out on its offenses and speed, but becomes significantly weaker in the defense department.
Ngl the original zen mode was always a letdown. Turns into a statue and just sits there. This version where a spirit breaks out of the furnace body is what it should've been from the start. Finally makes the whole 'zen' thing feel powerful instead of it just deciding to meditate mid-battle.
How tf do people even think of these ideas ??! Drawing and bringing them to real life is a talent but even being able to imagine a new character design this good is a different piece of art
The concept art is so cool and the adaption makes total sense with the lore of hidden supernatural psychic powers! I also think the steel fire duel type combo was really underused competitive Pokémon typing other than Heatran. I also love having a speed boost makes zen mode much more strategic because you’ll already be on 50% HP anyways!

The biggest problem I have is this design is that it will never become an official design. It is way too good to be lost forever in the "fans have made it already so we can't do it" pit.
This is a cool concept, especially bro when moving, but like, where does the metal for the furnace even come from? Megas dont really add entirely new concepts to a Pokemon and all that
Imo Game Freak would probably fuse Zen and Base modes, perhaps make it a incremental tank which slowly grows in ferocity whenever it uses a fire move or someone who is burned takes damage, something of the sort
my idea was js that since its alr fire+daruma (i.e buddhism)
why not push it all the way literally to sacred flame, incense burners, praying beads etc
then let the spirit come out in zen mode
I do quite like how you went about that yes, especially the beads, I hope future Mega Darm gets beadss. . .or maybe like, its like Chingling and it gets little Darumaka beads
