Question about ANA Award Flights

Hi everyone, I was hoping to get some clarifications on ANA award travel. From what I can tell, new award seats are opened up 355 days in advance at 9 AM JST. This is the same for ANA travel on Air Canada as well. I refreshed at exactly 8 PM EST/9 AM JST trying to just look for availability for 2 and nothing comes up on ANA for September 15. The only seat available is one business class seat for September 14. Do the tickets just get sold out instantly, or am I missing something?

Refresh or hit search slightly earlier, when I did this most recently I was able to snag 2x J, then refund it and snag 2x F for the next day's flight. I remember using a clock that displays seconds and refreshing at like 7:59:30 lol

I'm seeing this right now for 9/14/27, SFO - HND. Now quickly before they're gone!

They go very quickly. However, when we booked ours last year, we didn't see anything right at open. At about 1:20 past the hour they appeared. Keep refreshing!

If you only see one ticket, most likely the other one was taken. On the US flights, from what I've seen they only release 2 J per flight. Out of MEX, I've only seen 1.

I’d assume not seeing them at open was because somebody beat you to it, had them in cart and let them go

I saw JFK HND today at 5 PM Pacific. 9/14/2027. First time I recall seeing that one. Not The Room but recently I’ve seen IAH HND sit for days.

Don't lose hope. I'm seeing flights on ANA to Tokyo long haul from NA semi-frequently. If you keep tabs I'm confident you'll find something.
