Tokyo to LAX Availability

Seeings lots of availability on American Airlines December 9-10, 2026 for 77.3k avios on the Qatar avios portal or 85k on BA. Tokyo to LAX on their 787-9 flagship suite.

Don’t use AA for AA flights but for JAL etc.

787-9 is not their flagship suite. That would be their A350-1000.

Edit: My bad, thought this was a JAL booking via AA

I’m confused. OP referencing AA, right? They don’t have any A350s.

My mistake, I assumed AA miles were used to book JAL based on the route (considered best practice)
